We will comply with the requiremente of 10 CFR 2.790 to provide proprietary and non proprietary versions of the above material together with an amdavit as soon as the proprietary and non-proprietary versions have been prepared. We will submit the total required number of copies of the proprietary and non-proprietary versions of the information and the required amdavit at that time.

In the meantime, we have provided sufficient copies for your informnelan and use. M. P. S'-en, Esq. of the NRC Omoe of the General Counsel, has advised Westinghouse that she concurs with this procedure.

We expect to be able to fully comply with the requirement < for the proprietary and non-proprietary versions of the information and an accompanying amdavit within four weeks.

This letter transmits supplemental documentation in response to Items 2a and 2b of the NRC's request for additional information (TAC No. MB9116) in support I of the Braidwood Unit I steam generator tube interim plugging criteria (IPC). l WCAP-14046, "Braidwood Unit 1 Technical Support for Cycle 5 Steam l Generator Interim Plugging Criteria," was used in May 1994 to provide the'  ;

technical basis for the IPC. The initial responses to Items 2a and 2b of the l NRC's request for additional information were previously provided in letters l NSD-TAP-3079 and 3080. In further response to Item 2a, the results from l Case I from the TRANFLO analyses are provided for NRC staff review. I Case 1 involves calculating the tube support plate pressure drops that occur during a postulated steam line break event when Braidwood Unit 1 is in a hot standby condition. In further response to Item 2b, additional information is provided addressing the applicability of the Model F sensitivity study to ,

determine the relative pressure drop across the uppermost tube support plate as a function of secondary side water level to the Model D4 steam generators at Braidwood Unit 1. This transmittal, like the previous transmittals, contains -

Westinghouse Proprietary Class 2 information and will subsequently be issued in a WCAP report at a later date.
