Steam Generator Tube inspection Report from Braidwood Station Unit 2 Refueling Outage inspections in accordance with Technical Specification 5.6.9, " Steam Generator (SG) Tube inspection Reports," we are reporting the numbers of tubes plugged or repaired during i the SG inservice inspection activities conducted during the Braidwood Station Unit 2 {
seventh refueling outage (i.e., A2RO7). Technical Specification 5.6.9.a requires that following each inservice inspection of SG tubes, the number of tubes plugged or repaired in each SG shall be reported to the NRC within 15 days. The purpose of this letter is to provide the requisite SG Tube inspection Report for Braidwood Station Unit 2.
During the A2RO7 refueling outage, which began on April 24,1999, eddy current @l inspections of the SG tubes were conducted. The following inspections were performed:
. 100% Full Length Bobbin; '
+ 25% Row 1 and 2 U-Bends, Plus Point Probe;
- 25% Hot Leg Top of Tubesheet, Plus Point Probe; i e 25% of Hot Leg Dents and Dings > 5.0 Volts, Plus Point Probe; and a 20% Preheater Expansions in 2C SG, Plus Point Probe.
The SG tube plugging was completed on May 5,1999. The Attachment summarizes the SG tube plugging results. No SG tubes were repaired by sleeving during the A2RO7 refueling outage.
