Request to Reschedule Breaker Muintenance Inspection for Braidwood Nuclear Power Station

" Plant Performance Review - Braidwood Units 1 and 2," dated March 26,1999.
Dear Mr. Jordan:
The reference letter pravided the Plant Performance Review (PPR) for Braidwood Station. Included with the PPR was the NRC inspecticn plan for 3raidwood Station for the next six months. After reviewing the inspection plan, we request that you reconsider the scheduled dates for the Breaker Maintenance Inspection. This inspection is currently i
scheduled to take place April 12 -16,1999, at Braidwood Station. A later inspection dew would allow station personnel to provide better support for the Breaker Maintenance Inspection.
At this time, r.umerous resources are being expended on the NRC Engineering and Technical Support / Corrective Actions inspection (which is scheduled to end on April 23,1999), refueling outage preparations, and activities associated with an unplanned Unit 1 shutdown.
Insorder to better accommodate the inspection activity, we propose that this Breaker i
Maintenance Inspection for Braidwood Station be rescheduled for either the week of l
June 7,1999, or one of the last two weeks in July 1999.
