Letter from G. E. Grant (U.S. NRC) to O. D. Kingsley (Comed) transmitting " Plant Performance Review - Braidwood Units 1 and 2," dated March 26,1999. , )
The reference letter provided the Plant Performance Review (PPR) for '
Braidwood Station. Included with the PPR was the NRC inspection plan for Braidwood Station for the next six months. After reviewing the plan, it was determined that Braidwood Station personnel would experience difficulty providing sufficient support during the Breaker Maintenance insoection /
scheduled to take place April 12 - 16,1999, due to activities already in progress o or previously scheduled. Numerous resources are currently being expended on the NRC Engineering and Technical Support / Corrective Actions inspections 4.
(which are scheduled to erd on April 23,1999), refueling outage preparations,

and activities associated with unplanned plant evolutions.
I in order to better accommodate the inspection activity, Braidwood Station j proposed that the Breaker Maintenance Inspection be rescheduled for either the l week of June 7,1999, or one of the last two weeks in July 1999. This request '
was discussed with NRC Region ill personnel during the week of April 5,1999.
The purpose of this letter is to formally document the request.
