Gentlemen:
Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 3 1986 Annual Environmental Operating Report Section 5.4.1 of the Environmental Protection Plan (EPP), Reference 1, requires that Northeast Nuclear Energy Company (NNECO) submit an Annual Environmental Operating Report to the NRC describing implementation of the EPP for the previous year, on or before May I each year. The attached report fulfills this requirement for 1986, the year in which Millstone No. 3 began commercial operation.
Also enclosed, for your information, is a report which has been submitted to the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection as required . by Reference 2 and discussed in Section 2.1 of the attached 1986 Annual Environmental Operating Report.
