SUMMARY
O'F PUBLIC MEETING HELD ON APRIL 15,1999, AT THE GRAND GULF NUCLEAR STATION TO PRESENT PLANT PERFORMANCE REVIEW RESULTS
Dear Mr. Eaton:
This refers to the public meeting conducted on April 15,1999, in the Engineering Building l
auditorium at the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station, Port Gibson, Mississippi. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the results of the Plant Performance Review completed on February 11,
-l 1999, and transmitted to you on March 19,1999. The meeting provided an opportunity for you, your staff, and the NRC to discuss the performance insights noted in the review and how they can be used to further improve operations at the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station. The discussion allowed for exchange on the new assessment process, the current performance review, and
{
upcoming actions taken in response to Y2K concerns. Subsequent to this meeting, the resident I
