10CFR50.55 was amended in 48 F.R. 1026 to require each construction permit holder to submit by June 10, 1983, the current description of the Quality Assurance Program being implemented unless there were no changes to the program previously accepted by the NRC. The Referenced letter provided changed pages, reasons for the changes, and the basis for concluding that previous KG&E commitments were not reduced by the changes for the Wolf Creek operational Quality Assurance Program.

Transmitted herewith are changed pages to the Wolf Creek Design and Construction Quality Assurance Program and a revised page 17.1-15 in the SNUPPS Design and Construction Quality Assurance Program. These updated pages will be formally incorporated into the next revision of the SNUPPS Design and Construction Quality Assurance Program.

The attached material also describes for the above changes to the Wolf Creek Design and Construction Quality Assurance Program - (1) the reason for the change and (2) the basis for concluding that the change does not reduce the KG&E commitments in the Design and Construction Quality Assurance Program previously accepted by the NRC.
