NPF-42 for Wolf Creek Generating Station (WCG8) Unit No.
1.
This submittal roguests a change to the Physical Security Plan in accordance with 10 CFR 73.57 and Generic Letter 87-10, Implementation of 10 CFR 75.57.
The proposed change will require the submittal of fingerprint cards to the NRC in lieu of the currently required criminal records check prior to granting of interim unescorted access to WCGS. An additional stipulation is proposed that requires that criminal history resulting from the FBI check will be considered along with other evaluative criteria in granting unescorted access.
Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating-Corporation requests approval of this proposed amendment for use during the upcoming WCGS refueling outage scheduled to begin on March 8, 1990.
A Safety Evaluation, Significant-Essards Consideration Detemination are provided as Attachments I and II respectively.
Attachment III provides the proposed changes to the Physical Security Plan.
