On February 9, 1982, your office was informed that the 1A steam generator had an indicated tube leak of 0.11 gal / min. This constitutes an abnormal degradation of the reactor coolant pressure boundary. Reportabic Occurrence Report R0-269/82-03 providing details of this incident was to have been submitted to you by February 23, 1982, pursuant to Technical Specification 6.6.2.1.a(3). Ilowever, the investigation of this incident and the prepara-tion of a report are incomplete at this time. It is expected that the investigation and report will be completed, reviewed, and submitted to you no later than March 9, 1982.
