Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
On May 27, 1983, the Oconee NRC Resident Inspector was notified that due to loss of DC power, certain containment isolation valves may have failed in their non-ES position. Reportable Occurrence Report R0-287/83-07 providing details of this incident was to have been submitted to you by June 24, 1983, pursuant to Technical Specification 6.6.2.1.b(2).
However, the investigation of this incident and the preparation of a report are incomplete at this time.
It is expected that the investigation and report will be completed, reviewed, and submitted to you no later than July 8, 1983.
