- 1. The opening side of the actuator shall be pressurized to 125 PSIG air, j 2. When the actuator stops moving, all joints shall be checked for leakage with a soap solution. No leakage is permitted.
- 3. Since these actuators are spring loaded to fail shut, no hydro test is requiie'd on the closing side.
TEST RESULTS .

- 1. There was no leakage when all of the joints were checked.
- 2. The shell test for pneumatic actuators was perfor=ed and completed satisfactorily to the requirecents per PSI Specification No.14755 TP-5.

- 2. When the actuator stops moving, all joints shall be checked for leakage with a soap solution. No leakage is permitted.

- 1. Each valve shall be cycled four (4) times with its operator to insur that no binding or unusual operating characteristics exist. During this ' test, the, cloning ti;ne shall be five (5) seconds or less. 'No pressure on the valve' is required during this test. .
- 2. Each valve shall be cycled once with a 50 PSIG pressure applied to one (1)' side of the disc. Upon opening, the pressure shall be, dumped to. atmosphere. The '
valves shall be cycled using the specified actuators.
- 3. . For all cycle testing, the air pressure to pneumatic actuators shall be 80 PSIG g and electri.e. actuators shall use available standard electrical service.
