Radial Peaking . Factor Lim % Report f

This Radial Peaking Factor Limit Report is provided in accordance with Para-graph 6.9.1.12 of the Comanche Peak Unit'l Nuclear Plant Technical Specifications.

The Fxy limits' for PATED THEPyAL POWER within specific core planes .for Cycle 1 shall be..

E

1. F y less than or equal to 1.71 for all core planes.containing i . bank "D" control -ods, and a
2. F,R less than or equal tt 1.55 for all unrodded core planes.

These Fxy(z) limits were used to confirm that the heat flux het channel factor Fg(z) will be limited to the Technical Specification values of:

l Ff(z)5[232][K(2)] for P > 0.5 and, F(:)5[4.64)[K(z))

g for P 5 0.5 l assuming the most limiting axial power distributions expected to result from the insertion and removal of, Control Banks.B,'C. and D during operation, includinc the accompanying vari, ations in the axial xenon and power distributions as described

'in the " Power Distribution Control and i. cad Following Procedures", WCAP-5403,

, September, 1974. Tnerefore, these F' limits provide assurance that the-initial:
