DOCKET NOS. 50-445 AND 50-446 OPERATING REACTOR LICENSING ACTION ESTIMATE REF: NRC Administrative Letter 99-02: Operating Reactor Licensing Action Estimates from David B. Matthews to all power reactor licensees dated June 3,1999 Gentlemen:
In accordance with the request in the referenced letter, the following estimate of licensing actions is provided:
Six licensing actions are estimated for FY 2000:
Elimination of response time testing for SSPS, Process Instrumentation and auxiliary relays Increase surveillance testing interval for the SSPS slave relays Altemate repair criteria for Steam Generator tubes (Laser Welded Sleeves)
Relaxation of RPS/ESF Completion Times based on WCAP 14333 Package of approved industry generic travelers not yet incorporated in CPSES ITS Generic Letter 99-02 requested change to Surveillarice Requirements on ESF Charcoal Samples I
