nlELECTRIC COMANCHE PEAK STEAM ELECTRIC STATION FITNESS FOR DUTY

SUMMARY

OF MANAGEMENT ACTIONS Daily activities of Fitness For Duty Program have been performed with minimum problems.

The Fitness For Duty Management conducted an internal audit that indicated an area of concern in the medical laboratory. This was not in the area of testing results. The audit consisted of submitting blind sample containers of urine namples with seals that had been tampered with to the medical i laboratory along with the normal daily collections. The initial challenge scenario indicated that the medical staff were not as conscientious as expected. The results of the initial challenge was brought to the attention of the medical laboratory management and corrective action was taken. Additional blind sample containers with seals that had been tampered with were submitted. All of these containers were discovered by the medical laboratory staff and properly documented. Although the action y taken by the medical laboratory management indicates the area of concern has been corrected, the Fitness For Duty Management intend to continue to present the medical laboratory as well as other areas of the FFD Program with challenge scenarios in an effort to ensure a quality program.

No events were reported by telephone under 10CFR26.73.

Establish' alternate location for testing personnel assigned to Corporate.

One individual removed from unescorted access and formally referred to

,EAP based on behavioral observation.
