Dear Mr. Widner:

l Our letter of April 1,1981, entitled, Environmental Qualification of Safety-Related Electrical Equipment, contained an error. The letter transmitted the preliminary results of our review of this equipment at both Hatch Units Nos.1 and 2.

In Section 3.2, Service Conditions _,

of the review of both Units, in the second paragraph, third line from the top, we included the phrase, "and the containment spray caustics",

in the first sentence. Mr. R. Baker of your staff, contacted us on April 9,1981, by telephone, to point out that there are no caustic l

sprays used in either centainment. Delete this phrase from both reviews.
