Gentlenen:

By letter dated November 2,

1984 (NED-84-572) Georgia Power Company (GPC) replied to the October 31, 1984 recuest for additional information on the Plant Hatch ecuipnent cualification program.

GPC has just recently revised our estimate in the response to one of the NRC's cuestions in that altnittal.

In the GPC response to Item No. 3 in cur November 2, 1984 letter, we stated that 85% of the contract workers who aca.n11ated considerable overtime hcurs c11 ring the recently ccurpleted Unit 2 cutage will perform significant roles (11 ring the Unit 1 ecuipnent cualification installation effort now in progress. GIC has recently revised the estimate to show that only 58% of the contract workers will fall into this category.

' Ibis revision should also be reflected in Encloalre 3 to cur above-referenced altnittal since only 140 contract workers are now estimated to participate significantly in both outages, instead of 156 as was originally stated.

In addition, the contractor noted in Encloalre 3 has revised the total count for their workers who acmnulated overtime bcurs d1 ring the recent Unit 2 cutage (changed from 184 to 240) ; this is reflected in the encloaire revision.
