• Gentlemen:

In a December 14, 1988, meeting with the NRC Office of Special Projects (OSP) i staff and the Reactor Systems Branch staff. TU Electric outlined its plan

for i performing reload analysis. On January 31, 1989 TV Electric documented those l plans and provid6d the proposed schedule for submittal of reload analysis  !

topical reports in letter TXX 89047. Subsequently three such reports,  !

identified in Table 1, were submitted.

In mid 1989, the TV Electric resources scheduled for support of the reload f analysis program were temporarily reassigned to resolve outstanding items j associated with the startup of CPSCS Unit 1. The level of effort on the  ;

reload analysis program was reduced to accommodate the reassignment.

Consequently, it is required that the submittal of the balance of the reload i analysis topical reports identified in TXX 89047 be delayed. l t

TV Electric has continued to work on the reload analysis program and is in the  !

process of establishing a revised schedule for topical report submittal. You will be notified of that schedule by March 15, 1990.
