Dear Mr. Seidle:

On June 13, 1979, we verbally informed your 11r. R. G. Taylor, CPSES Resident Inspector, of a problem with two pressure transmitters at CPSES, that we were evaluating as a "potentially" reportable deficiency within the defini-tion of 'O CFR 50.55(e). Subsequent evaluation determined that the trans-nitters in question were non-IE and therefore not subject to the requirements of 10 CFR 50.55(e).

If you have any further questions, please advise.

Very truly yours,

/
