Dear fir. Seidle:

On May 18, 1979, we verbally informed your Mr. R. G. Taylor that pipe supports as presently designed may not meet seismic requirements. We considered this "potentially" reportable under 10 CFR 50.55(e). We submitted interim responses logged TXX-2999, TXX-3009, and TXX-3024 that advised you that we were continuing our investigation and evaluation.

We have completed our investigation and have concluded that the matter is not reportable under 10 CFR E3.55(e). Records supporting these deter-minations are available for your Inspector's review at the CPSES site.

Very truly yours, R. J. Gary RJG:ljj cc: fiRC Region IV - (0 + 1 copy)
