SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE DOCKET NO.. 50-335 UNIT St. Lucie g1 DATE 11/15/94 COMPLETED BY: C.D. White TELEPHONE: (407) 468-4248 REPORT MONTH OCTOBER 1994 Unit 1 operated at essentially full power from October 1, 1994 until October 26, when the Unit tripped off line due to a lightning strike to a single phase transformer in bay g1 of the switchyard located outside the plant protected area. The loss of the transformer caused a main generator lockout which tripped the main turbine. The Unit remained off line for repairs, and on October 31, 1994, Unit 1 began Cycle 13 Refueling.

In accordance with the requirements of Technical Specification 6.9.1.6, there were no challenges to the PORVs or safety valves during the report period.
