St. Lucie g1 07/12/94 COMPLETED BY C.D. White TELEPHONE: (407) 468-4248 REPORT MONTH JULY 1994 From July 1 through July 20, 1994, Unit 1 operated at or above 804 power. On July 21, the Unit reduced power due to a leak on the discharge side of the lA2 Circulating Water Pump. Unit 1 remained at reduced power through July 24, 1994 to repair the leak and returned to full power on July 25, 1994. The Unit operated at or above 80% power through the end of the month.

In accordance with the requirements of Technical Specification 6.9.1.6, there were no challenges to the PORVs or safety valves during the report period.

SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE DOCKET NO.: 50-389 UNIT St. Lucie g2 DATE: 07/12/94 COMPLETED BYC C.D. White TELEPHONE. (407) 468-4248 REPORT MONTH JULY 1994 Unit 2 operated at or above 80% power from July 1 through July 9, 1994. On July 9, the Unit began to decrease power due to a problem with instrumentation on the 2B1 Reactor Coolant Pump (RCP). On July 10 Unit 2 was taken off-line to repair the instrumentation; the Unit returned to full power on July 11, 1994. From July 11 to July 13, Unit 2 operated at or above 804 power. Due to a problem with a Reactor Protection System (RPS) Trip Circuit Breaker (TCB), the Unit reduced power and was manually shutdown on July 14, 1994. Unit 2 remained off-line through July 15, was returned to full power on July 16, and operated at or above 80% power through the end of the month.

In accordance with the requirements of Technical Specification 6.9.1.6, there were no challenges to the PORVs or safety valves during the report period.
