SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE DOCKET NO0 50-335 UNIT0 St. Lucie g1 DATE: 7/12/94 COMPLETED BY Chris D. White TELEPHONE: (407) 468-4248 REPORT MONTH June 1994 Unit 1 was operating at or above 804 power until June 6, 1994, when the reactor automatically tripped during inclement weather due to contact between metal facia and the 1A transformer causing it short out. Unit 1 remained off-line until June 11, 1994. On June to 11, power was increased and held at 30% power to perform Nuclear Delta T calculations. Once the Nuclear Delta T calculations were performed, the Unit continued to increase in power, but was held at 60% power to repair problems with the Turbine Cooling Water Pump.

On June 12, 1994, Unit 1 increased to about 70% power, where held for waterbox cleaning until June 14, 1994. Unit 1 again it increased in power on June 15) 1994'nd operated at or above 804 through the end of the month.

In accordance with the requirements of Technical Specification 6.9.1.6, there were no challenges to the PORVs or safety valves during the report period.
