SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE DOCKET N00 ~ 50-335 UNIT: St. Lucie gi DATE: 2/14/94 COMPLETED BY: C.D. White TELEPHONE0 (407) 468-4248 REPORT MONTH JANUARY 1994 Unit 1 operated at full power from January 1 through January 8, 1994. On January 9, the reactor was manually tripped due to decreasing feedwater flow from loss of the 1B Main Feedwater Pump.

Following troubleshooting and repair, Unit 1 returned to full power on January 12, 1994, and remained at or above 804 power until January 27, 1994, when the Unit decreased power to 454 for 1B Main Feedwater Pump repair. This repair was unrelated to the problem experienced earlier in the month with the 1B Main Feedwater Pump.

Unit 1 returned to full power by the end of the day and operated at or above 804 power through the end of the month.

In accordance with the requirements of Technical Specification 6.9.1.6, there were no challenges to the PORVs or safety valves during the report period.
