Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 2 Cycle 10 Analysis of Chapter 15 Events Sucolement 1 (TAC #68360)

In a letter dated June 3,1988,II) Northeast Nuclear Energy Company (NNECO) submitted to the NRC Staff a proposed schedule for various reports and analy-ses supportive of Millstone Unit No. 2's Cycle 10 reload. The Cycle 10 start-up is currently scheduled for March 1989.

By letter dated September 19, 1988,(2) NNECO submitted a report entitled

, "Plant Transient Analysis Report, Analysis of Chapter 15 Events." This report determined which of the Chapter 15 events required reanalysis to support the Cycle 10 reload and provided the basis for that determination.

In support of the proposed schedule, NNECO hereby submits as Attachment 1, Millstone Unit No. 2 Cycle 10 Analysis of Chapter 15 Events, Supplement 1, provided by Advanced Nuclear Fuels. This report documents the results of the Chapter 15 event analysis performed in support of Millstone Unit No. 2 Cycle 10 operation. This report was originally scheduled to be submitted concurrently with the proposed license amendment on November 15, 1988.

However, due to concerns expressed by the Staff of potentially inadequate review time, NNEC0 has been successful in condensing our original schedule for this analysis package.
