Crystal River Unit 3 Docket No. 50-302 Operating License No. DPR-72 Event Potentially Reportable Per 10CFR50.73

Dear Sir:

On June 29, 1986, the Crystal River Unit 3 (CR-3) reactor building was vented to relieve long term pressure buildup. This venting was done during power operation and was reported per 10CFR50.72 on June 30, 1986. The draft Licensee Event Report (LER) describing the details of this event is still under management review due to difficulty in determining the appropriate reportability requirements, if any. This report or a letter describing its cancellation will be submitted by August 8,1986.
