SUBJECT: EXAMINATION REPORT NO. 50-293/93-21 (OL)  ;

During the week of. November 29,1993, the NRC administered initial examinations to

employees of your company who had applied for licenses to operate the Pilgrim Nuclear

Power Station. The initial examinations were conducted in ucordance with NUREG-1021,

" Operator . Licensing Examiner Standards," Revision 7. j

All applicants passed the initial examinations and were well prepared for the examinations.

Your staff was cooperative and helpful during the examination preparation and

administration. Sections 2.0 and 3.0 of the enclosed report contain additional details of the

!

applicants performance and the NRC examiners' observations and additional findings.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commissions regulations,'a copy of this letter and [

its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
