Nuclear Regulatory Commission B12724/Page 2 October 30,1987 As a result of NRC Staff questions of June 2,'1987, and a meeting between NRC Staff personnel and NNECO on August 25 and. 26,1987, NNECO is hereby submitting, as Attachment 1, a revised IWP (Pump) and IWV (Valve) Testing Program for the second ten-year . inspection interval .for Millstone Unit No. 2. ,

. This submittal supersedes and replaces all previous submittals made by NNECO related to pump and valve _. testing for the second inspection interval, and is a complete, comprehensive package. All relief requests have been revised, updated, and renumbered.

The attached testing program also includes an updated program for Emergency Diesel Generator Auxiliary Systems Testing.

Attachment 2 is an item-by-item discussion of questions and concerns raised at the August 25 and 26,1987 meeting between the NRC Staff and NNECO. i d

NNECO trusts that this submittal adequately resolves all existing Staff concerns.

Since the ten-year inspection interval began December 26, 1983, this revised ISI Testing Program will be implemented immediately unless NNECO is informed of additional Staff concerns.
