SUMMARY
. MONTH: February,1998 McGuire Unit I began the month of February operating at 100% full power. The unit was taken off-line on 02/09/98 at 1027 when 8 controliods dropped to the fully inserted position and 3 rods dropped partially into core. The unit was placed on-line 02/11/98 at 0510. The unit reached 100% full power on 02/11/98 at 2320. On 02/14/98 at 0800 the unit began decreasing power and held at 24% power from 1110 to 02/15/98
. at 0725 to repair "lCF 35" feedwater hydraulic valve leak. The unit returned to 100% full power on

02/15/98 at 1714 and operated at or near 100% full power the remainder of the month. j l'

SUMMARY
MONTit February,1998 McGuire Unit 2 began the month of February operating at 100% full power. The unit was taken off line on 02/22/98 at 2054 when a reactor / turbine trip occurred when the main generator protective relay actuated due to a main generator voltage regulator failure. The unit was placed on-line 02/24/98 at 1713. The unit returned to 100% full power on 02/26/98 at 0119 and operated at or near 100% full power the remainder of the month.'
