NARRATIVE
SUMMARY
MONTil: July,1997 McGuire Unit I began the monih of July operating at 100% full power, On 07/01/97 at 1243 the unit began .
decreasing power and held at 54% power from 1451 to 1556 to attempt repair ofleak on turbine impulse I 1 line due to a broken weld. The unit continued decreasing power and held at 20% power from 1747 to 2349 to repair leak on turbine impulse line. The unit returned to 100% full power on 07/02/97 at 1445 and operated at or near 100% full power the remainder of the month.

NARRATIVE
SUMMARY
i MONTil: July,1997
- McGuire Unit 2 began the month of July operating at 98% full power due to #4 turbine governor valve
- reaching idministrative limit of 60% open. 'Ihe unit returned to 100% full power on 07/08/97 at 2300 and operated at or near 100% full power until 07/11/97 at 0517 when the unit experienced a reactor / turbine trip -
due to "D" reactor coolant pump trip. The unit u as placed on line 07/22/97 at 1310. The unit increased power and held at approximately 99% power from 07/23/97 at 1115 to 07/31/97 at 2400 due to #4 turbine governor valve reaching administrative limit of 60% open. The unit ended the month operating at
- approximately 99% full power.
