SUMMARY

i MONTil: Decemter.1997 McGuire Unit 2 began the month of Decemler !n end-of cycle 11 refueling and steam generator teplacement outage. De refueling and steam generator replacement outage spanned 76.79 days. De unit was placed on.line 12/18N7 at 2202 and increased to 27% power. On !?/19/97 at 0530 the unit began decreasing power and held at 14% power from 0640 to 2134 to get the moisture 6eparator reheater relief valve to rescat. De unit held at 38% power from 12/22N7 at 0003 to 0215 due to load reduction testing. I De unit resumed power escaletion, and held at 78% power from 12/23/97 at 0123 to 0534 due to unit load transient testing. nc unit resumed power escalation and held at 98% power from 12/31/97 at 2345 to 2400. The total station liquid release for November has been compared with the Technical Specificatiene maximum annual dose commitment and was less than 10 percent of this limit.

The total station gaseous release for Hovember has been compared with the Technical Specifications maximum annual dose commitment and was less than 10 percent of this limit.
