SUMMARY

MONTH: August,1998 McGuire Unit I began the month of August operating at 100% full power. On 08/28/98 at 2029 the unit began decreasing and held at 20% power from 08/29/98 at 0500 to 1038 to repair "lB" feedwater pump bearings and perform ice condenser inspection due to glycol leak. The unit began increasing power and held at 45% power from 09/29/98 at 1249 until 09/30/98 at 2400 to repair "lB" feedwater pump bearings. The unit ended the month operating at 45% full power.
