OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE DOCKET N00 50-335 UNIT St. Lucie 1 DATE . 13 3 COMPLETED BY J.J. Breen TELEPHONE 407 468-4248 REPORT MONTH SEPTEMBER 1991 From September 13; 1991, to September 14, 1991, Unit 1 downpowered for cleaning of the 1B1 waterbox. Upon completion of waterbox cleaning, Unit 1 increased power on September 15, 1991, and remained there until September 18, 1991. On September 18, 1991, an automatic reactor trip caused by operator error'occurred. Improper synchronizing of the MG Sets was the root cause and this event will be reported in LER 91-06. In an attempt to bring Unit 1 up in power, delays with the H2 Analyzer were experienced. On September 20, 1991, Unit 1 was at full power and remained there for the rest of the month.

In accordance with the requirements of Technical Specification 6.9.1.6, there were no challenges to the PORVs or safety valves during the report period.
