Gentlemen:
Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 2 Licensing Fees In Reference (1), Northeast Nuclear Energy Company (NNECO) proposed revisions to Technical Specifications concerning inservice inspection (ISI) and testing programs . Subsequently, the NRC Staf f advised that: (1) modifications to the proposed wording would be required, and (2) the Staf f did not concur with the stated fee determination.
Because it was understood that a supplement to Reference (1) was forthcoming no later than January 26, 1979, NNECO advised that a Class III fee payment would accompany that supplement to resolve the fee issue. This second sub-mittal will address the details of the ISI program and request specific exemp-tions to 10CFR50.55a.
However, in direct response to Reference (2), enclosed is payment in the amount or four thousand dollars ($4,000) . Because review of a single safety issue is required, NNECO has determined that the enclosed f ee is applicable to Reference (1), the submittal scheduled for January 26, 1979, and any other supplements which tba Staff may require on this subject.
