80-01 Unit was being removed f rom service for a scheduled turbine overspeed test.
!, When the last generater output breaker was opened, the turbine and reactor
. tripped. An improperly set transmitter PT-MS-232 caused turbine valves to j pulse open raising the 1st stage press to greater than 10% (turbine power
- greater than 10% with generator output breakers open causes a turbine trip) j' resulting in a turbine trip and reactor trip.
l 80-02 When the Overspeed Protection Controller pulsed during the planned overspeed
- test it caused First Stage Impulse Pressure to go greater than 10% inducing
- a signal te reinstate the at-power trips.
