Presently, Gulf States is preparing a River Bend Project position on the applicability .

of the newly issued Regulatory Guide 1.58, Rev. 1, to this subject.

ATTACHMENT I

-ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR I&E REPORT NO. 50-458/80-05 ITEM B The Assistant Technicians, Technicians, and Trainees will perform tests in conjunction with a Level II or above. In this case, both will sign the Test Report as performing the test. The reports will then be reviewed and signed by a second Level II or above.

i Af ter a Technician, Assistant Technician,- or Trainee is trained under the JPG Program to perform a particular task, they may perform that task, initiate and sign the appropriate report-while under the supervision of a Level II or greater. The supervising Level II inspector will also sign the test report as responsible for the correct performance of the test. The report will be reviewed by a second Level II or III inspector.

i The above policy will be reflected in a Quality Control .

Instruction which is to be issued by November 1, 1980.

" Inspection Report" refers to the test reports.and Inspection Reports.
