RIV DOCKET No. 50-458/RPT. 80-05 As per our recent conversation with your staf f, we are providing the attached clarification with regard to Item B of our response, dated September 10, 1980, to Inspection Report 80-05.. Presently, Gulf States is preparing a River Bend Project position on the applicability.

ATTACHMENT I
-ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR I&E REPORT NO. 50-458/80-05 ITEM B The Assistant Technicians, Technicians, and Trainees will perform tests in conjunction with a Level II or above.
In this case, both will sign the Test Report as performing the test.
The reports will then be reviewed and signed by a second Level II or above.
i Af ter a Technician, Assistant Technician,- or Trainee is trained under the JPG Program to perform a particular task, they may perform that task, initiate and sign the appropriate report-while under the supervision of a Level II or greater.
The supervising Level II inspector will also sign the test report as responsible for the correct performance of the test.
The report will be reviewed by a second Level II or III inspector.
i The above policy will be reflected in a Quality Control.
Instruction which is to be issued by November 1, 1980.
" Inspection Report" refers to the test reports.and Inspection Reports.
