- SURRY POWER STATION, UNIT 2 DOCKET NO. 50-281

Dear Mr. Heacock:

This refers to the Category 1 public meeting which was held on April 19, 2012, at the U.S. NRC Region 2 office in Atlanta, GA. The meeting was a regulatory conference, which was convened in order to discuss a preliminary White finding involving one Apparent Violation (AV) of Technical Specification (TS) 6.4.A.7 associated with Surry Unit 2 reactor coolant system (RCS) standpipe level erratic indications. This issue was documented in NRC Inspection Report No.

05000280, 281/2012007 (ML120730510). A listing of the meeting attendees and a copy of the information presented during the meeting are enclosed.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosures will be made available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs Agencywide Document Access and Management System (ADAMS).
