Operating License No. DPR-50 Docket No. 50-289 LER 96-002-01 The purpose of this letter is to transmit a supplement to Thil-l Licensee Event Report (LER)
No. 96-002-00. This supplement updates the status of corrective actions and corrects an inaccurate date given for a calculation referred to in the LER which was noted during an inspection by NRC Region 1. That calculation was actually issued in 1994 rather than 1992 as reported in LER 96-002-00. Correction of this date does not affect our understanding of the event, however this should prevent any further confusion regarding the specific document referred to in the LER and facilitate NRC closure on this issue.
