Dear Mr. Hendrie:

E 6 -

As a resident of Northern Virginia and a consumer o 'b \/

electric power. I implore you and the Commission to ~~~ I favorably and expeditiously consider the early licensing of the Virginia Electric and Power Company's North Anna Unit 2.

Under today's burgeoning costs for oil and the fossil fuels employed to generate electric power, any further inhibition in the operation of the constructed but idle North Anna Unit 2 plant is an inflationary, wasteful, and flagrantly asinine circumstance.

Surely you cannot but concur that any 30% increase in a consumer's monthly electric bill by virtue of the non-operation of North Anna Unit 2 is an inexcusabic expense and penalty to be imposed upon any American taxpayer and voter by whose dedication and graces the whole of the Federal government is in business.

Sincerely, -

Reuben D. Emerick, Jr.
