Dear Mr. Ahearne:

As noted in the attached notice from VEPCG, t13 refusal of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to allow VEPCO to operate half of its nuclear units cost me almost $25.00 in my monthly electric bill.

The fact that energy costs esy are rising is well known and the basic driving forces are understandable.

However, there is no logic to support perfectly safe nuclear plants sitting idle while ex-pensive oil is burned to generate electricity.

Please get on with the job to authorize VEPCO to operate its nuclear plants!
