Dear Sir:

Kansas Gas and Electric Company has had discussions with Mr. Richard Stark of your staff concerning the Acceptance Review 'of the Wolf Creek Generating Station, Unit No. 1 (WCGS) Operating License Application. Mr. Stark requested that KG&E confirm to the NRC our plans for submittal of

.the plan for security training at WCGS.

Previous discussions with the NRC as documented in the Reference had indicated our intent to submit this plan at eighteen months before the fuel load of WCGS. Current efforts in this area are ahead of schedule and we plan to submit the WCGS Security Training and Qualification Plan by January 1, 1981.
