50-389 St.Lucie g2 9/9/93 C.WHITE (407)468-4248 REPORT MONTH AUGUST 1993 Unit 2 decreased power on August 9, 1993 for waterbox cleaning.On August 10, 1993 the unit was taken off-line due to a condenser tube leak, detected during waterbox cleaning.The unit was returned to full power on August 12, 1993.From August 25 to August 27, 1993, the unit decreased power for waterbox cleaning and to repair the g1 governor valve.Excluding these periods, Unit 2 operated at or above 80%for the month of August, 1993.In accordance with the requirements of Technical Specification 6.9.1.6, there were no challenges to the PORVs or safety valves during the report period.  
From August 25 to August 27, 1993, the unit decreased power for waterbox cleaning and to repair the g1 governor valve. Excluding these periods, Unit 2 operated at or above 80% for the month of August, 1993.
