Dear Mr. Campbell:

l By letter dated September 29,1995 (Serial Number 2325, LAR 94-0010), you applied for an l amendment to the Davis-Besse, Unit 1 Operating License No. NPF-3. The proposed change l would have modified the facility technical specifications pertaining to allowable as-found pressure lift setting tolerance of the two Pressurizer Code Safety Valves. Subsequently, you determined that you would not pursue this issue, and by letter dated June 7,1999, you requested that the amendment request be withdrawn.

The Commission has filed the enclosed Notice of Withdrawal of Application for Amendment to l Facility Operating License with the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
