50-335 St.Lucie g1 February 5, 1997 J.A.ROGERS (561)467-7296 REPORT MONTH Janua 1 7 Unit 1 operated at essentially full power until January 31.On January 31 the unit downpowered to approximately 80%power to repair a leak on a turbine cooling water system hydrogen cooler.Upon completion of repair, the unit was unable to return to full power due to a problem with control rod N38.The unit returned to full power on February 1.In accordance with the requirements of Technical Specification 6.9.1.6, there were no challenges to the power operated relief valves or the safety valves during the report period.
