| | UMMARY OF OPERATI EXPERIE E DOCKET NO.: 50-335 UNIT: St. Lucie ¹1 DATE: February 6, 1998 COMPLETED BY: J.A.ROGERS TELEPHONE: (561) 467-7296 Unit 1 remained out of service through January 7, 1998, for steam generator replacement/refueling activities. On January 7, at 1416, the unit was returned to service and power ascension testing commenced. On January 8, the 1A main feed regulator valve would not control in automatic and the unit was held at 22% power for repairs. Power ascension testing resumed. On January 9, power was held at 55% for a digital electro-hydraulic (DEH) control panel repair. Following repairs power ascension testing resumed. On January 10, the unit downpowered. |
| | from 75% to 52% to troubleshoot a suspected secondary side feedwater control problem. At 1850 on January 10, power was increased to 58% and held for control rod power supply repair. Power increase resumed but the unit was manually tripped at 60-. due to a DEH leak. On January 11, the unit was returned to service at 1823. On January 12, power was held at approximately 45% for a main feedwater breaker repair. Power was increased and on January 13, held at approximately 80% to review secondary side performance. The unit began increasing power at 1730 and reached 100. on January 14, at 0736. On January 16, at 1625, the unit was taken off line to repair the engineered safety features actuation system power supply. The unit was returned to service at 0937 on January 17. On January 18 the unit was held at approximately 60% power due to a leak on the 1B turbine cooling water pump. On January 19 the unit began increasing power at 0854. The unit reached 100% power at 0430 on January 20. |

UMMARY OF OPERATI EXPERIE E DOCKET NO.: 50-335 UNIT: St. Lucie ¹1 DATE: February 6, 1998 COMPLETED BY: J.A.ROGERS TELEPHONE: (561) 467-7296 Unit 1 remained out of service through January 7, 1998, for steam generator replacement/refueling activities. On January 7, at 1416, the unit was returned to service and power ascension testing commenced. On January 8, the 1A main feed regulator valve would not control in automatic and the unit was held at 22% power for repairs. Power ascension testing resumed. On January 9, power was held at 55% for a digital electro-hydraulic (DEH) control panel repair. Following repairs power ascension testing resumed. On January 10, the unit downpowered.
from 75% to 52% to troubleshoot a suspected secondary side feedwater control problem. At 1850 on January 10, power was increased to 58% and held for control rod power supply repair. Power increase resumed but the unit was manually tripped at 60-. due to a DEH leak. On January 11, the unit was returned to service at 1823. On January 12, power was held at approximately 45% for a main feedwater breaker repair. Power was increased and on January 13, held at approximately 80% to review secondary side performance. The unit began increasing power at 1730 and reached 100. on January 14, at 0736. On January 16, at 1625, the unit was taken off line to repair the engineered safety features actuation system power supply. The unit was returned to service at 0937 on January 17. On January 18 the unit was held at approximately 60% power due to a leak on the 1B turbine cooling water pump. On January 19 the unit began increasing power at 0854. The unit reached 100% power at 0430 on January 20.
In accordance with the requirements of Technical Specification 6.9.1.6, there were no challenges to the power operated relief valves or the safety valves during the report period.
