Dear Sir:

Notice of Violation Inspection Report 50-443/79-05 and 50-444/79-05 contained a notice of violation in the form of an infraction. The violation was due to items'in Storage and equipped with space heaters being connected by non-approved receptable plugs to service wiring.

We have taken the following corrective actions:

a) Hard wiring of motors All motors which have space heaters energized were hard wired to conform to the recent revision to UE&C Procedure FGCP-9.

Long Term Storage personnel have been thoroughly indoctrinated concerning the various requirements delineated in revision 4 of FGCP-9 and instructed to comply with these requirements.

b) Motor heater not energized The electrical connection from the motor strip heater to the power source was inspected at the junction box.
