Enclosed for your information is the Monthly Performance Report covering the operation of Quad Cities Nuclear Power Station, Units One and Two, during the month of July,1998.

Currently, this information is being supplied to you per the requirements set forth in j Technical Specification 6.9.A.5 and Regulatory Guide 1.16. Beginning with the report for l August,1998, this report will be revised as permitted by Generic Letter 97-02 dated May {

15,1997 and other sources as stated below. Specifically, the following information will i no longer be provided unless users of the data request that it be continued.  ;

1. Appendix B, Average Daily Unit Power Levels for Unit One and Unit Two (not ,

required by GL 97-02). l

2. Appendix D, Unit Shutdowns and Power Reductions will be abbreviated to Unit Shutdowns only. Reporting of any reductbn of power greater than 20 percent over a 24-hour period is no longer required. System Codes and Component Codes will be deleted from this form. LER Numbers will be given in the Corrective Actions / Comments column (per GL 97-02).
3. ODCM Revisions (now reported as part of, or concurrent with, the Radiological

' effluent Report per Technical Specification 6.14.A).

4. Radwaste System Changes (not required per GL 97-02).
5. Licensee Event Reports (not required per GL 97-02).
6. Control Rod Drive Scram Timing Data (requirement deleted per NRC SER dated l July 27,1995 associated with Technal Specification Amendment Numbers  !
