ISSUANCE OF FULL POWER OPERATING LICENSE On May 20, 1988, a Full Power Operating License for Braidwood 2 was issued by the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation. The license was issued following a Connission meeting in which -
the Commission voted 5-0 in favor of license approval. Braidwood 2 is the licensee's o twelf th operational nuclear unit.
The unit is at eight percent power and is currently engaged in power ascension activities. I NRR Region III will provide augmented inspection coverage of the power ascension.
