At 3:15 p.m. on August 15, 1977, an anonymous telephone call was

! received by the quality Assurance and Welding Supervisor,

. Chicago Bridge and Iron. The caller stated that "three sticks of W' dynamite" had been placed in Unit 1 containment. No time of 6 detonation was given. An immediate search was conducted. No if' explosives were found and the site was not evacuated. Construction gf representatives consider this call to be a prank since there have been recent labor problems. No press release is, planned.

Braidwood Station, which is under construction, is owned by Commonwealth Edison Company. Unit 1 is about 17% complete. The Station is about s

65 miles southwest of Chicago near the town of Braidwood.
