BOMB THREAT At about 5 p.m. (CST), November 1, 1986, an anonymous male caller telephoned the plant s:curity office claiming he had planted a bomb in the auxiliary building and that it would explode at 5:30 p.m.
The caller was unresponsive to questions concerning the type and location of the device.
Bastd on background noise, it is speculated the call originated within the plant.
Th2 licensee' evacuated the auxiliary building except for firewatch and security personnel and conducted a limited search with operations personnel. No suspicious packages were found, and no explosion occurred.
Lc' cal law enforcement agencies were notified, but no assistance was requested.
(Unit 1 just completed loading fuel. It is not yet authorized to go above zero power.
Unit 2 is still under construction.)
The State of Illinois will be notified.
